Ideal for fitness enthusiasts or newly certified level 2 fitness instructors lacking gym floor experience, this part-time role offers the flexibility of extra hours when necessary. Our gym staff are vital to our team's success, which is why we're always in search of top-tier talent. With a robust team in place, we expect any new addition to excel in a team setting, stand out when working independently on the gym floor, and bring innovative ideas to the table.
Front-of-house responsibilities are a crucial aspect of the role, which includes assisting members with injuries, managing phone inquiries, guiding potential members through our facilities, organising memberships and gym passes, and processing retail purchases like drinks, snacks, and branded apparel.
As the first point of contact and impression for our members, delivering exceptional customer service is paramount.
We take great pride in maintaining a clean and orderly environment, which is why a crucial aspect of a gym staff's responsibilities is to ensure that everything is kept in pristine and well-maintained condition.
Computer literacy is an essential skill necessary for membership in a gym staff team.
You will receive comprehensive training on our systems and procedures. However, it's important to have a basic understanding of computers and mobile phones, as you'll assist members with setting up their applications.
The compensation package for our gym staff includes a base hourly wage, holiday uplift pay, and performance-based bonuses.
Complimentary staff gym membership and complimentary parking facilities.
As a valued member of our team, we request that our staff commit exclusively to our gym and refrain from working at other fitness facilities.
