Five Star Gym offers a wide variety of functional fitness classes on our timetable. These classes are available throughout the day, both in the morning and evening sessions. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gym-goer, there is something for everyone at Five Star Gym.

Our classes cater to all levels of fitness. Some of the popular classes on our timetable include HIIT, Strength,Total Blitz, Cardio and Core HIIT Express, Booty and Core, Guns and Abs, Fighting Fit, Kettlebell Circuit, and more.

These classes are designed to challenge you and help you reach your fitness goals.

  • I've been going to Amy's classes for the last 6 months, they've really helped me to get in shape, stay consistent and enjoy exercise. I love the variety of classes from strength based to HIIT and boxing! The classes are made more enjoyable by Amy's up beat and energetic personality.   • PUMP IIT & HIIT

    I started Amy's classes around 5 weeks ago and I'm feeling fitter and stronger with each class I do, Amy is a great PT explains everything clearly and always on hand to help you if you need it. Also she makes sure we stretch properly at the end of each session which Is really good as other gyms l've been to don't do this, overall i'm very happy and really enjoy taking part in amy's classes. five stars from me😁

  • I have known Amy from the first day I stepped into Five Star Gym 3 years ago, and I have to say, she is just awesome, as are all of her classes; well planned, clearly explained and with great support and guidance all the way through. Amy's Body Blast class on a Friday morning is just bonkers, super tough, really hitting the mark, but OMG, they are such fun and a highlight of my workout week that I always look forward to.
    Just no more made up exercise names Amy🤣Thanks for everything and making me a stronger, better person💪🏼

  • I've been coming to Amy's class since the beginning of January, doing her Fitbox classes and they are absolutely incredible! You don't even feel you're working hard (which you definitely are) because they're so much fun! I go with my friend and we always say we are improving each week. I enjoy warming up with circuit training and then following with the basics to pad work. Muscles are getting stronger and feel l can punch better each week🤩

    I also did my first Saturday HIlT class which was also brilliant, will be definitely signing up for more of those to get the weekend started right! The class went so quickly, but was beasted the perfect amount!!

  • I have loved attending some of Dan’s classes over the past few months i have his as a PT and asking me to attend one I have now completed a few of his classes, including HIIT and Guns and Abs and yesterday Strength.
    He does an amazing job of running the class his enthusiasm and knowledge is amazing, he does an excellent job of explaining the exercises and he makes you feel really welcome, and always chats with everyone to ensure that you are ok during the class.
    He can be sometimes cheeky but he certainly likes to see the sweat pouring of your head but without doubt one of the BEST instructors. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
    Maybe one day he will join in and experience the exercises he likes to put people through. 😂😂

Taking part in fitness classes can be beneficial for many reasons. Not only do they provide a structured workout, but they also offer a great opportunity to learn new exercises and improve your form. The supportive and motivating environment in our classes can help build self-confidence, while training with like-minded individuals can make the experience more enjoyable.

It's a great way to mix up your workout routine and have fun while getting fit. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each class, ensuring you're safely and effectively completing each exercise. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try something new - you might just find your new favourite workout! See you in class!

For exercise classes, we recommend wearing clean gym attire. Layering is advised so that you can remove a layer as you heat up during your workout, ensuring maximum comfort. Please show respect for other class members, the gym, and its equipment by attending classes in clean clothing and appropriate footwear. Remember, it is important to wear proper gym attire when working out.

Our classes come fully equipped, so all you need to bring is a water bottle to stay hydrated. If you prefer, you are more than welcome to bring your own exercise or yoga mat.

To maximize space and minimize distractions, we kindly request all attendees to store their belongings in the lockers provided in the changing room. The only items you need to bring into the studio are your water bottle and exercise mat, if you choose to bring one.

Class durations typically range from 30 to 45 minutes, varying based on the specific class. Each session consists of a warm-up, exercise duration, and a cool-down with stretching exercises. You can find the duration of each class specified on the class timetable.

We highly recommend arriving at the studio at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start of the class. Please ensure that you store your belongings in the changing rooms and come prepared to begin. Being late can cause disruptions for all participants in the class. Kindly note that if you are more than 5 minutes late, you may be denied entry.
